February 25, 1971 - Hamburg, West Germany

This is a great recording of the Floyd. For the longest time I only had 2 songs from this date - The Atom Heart Mother Suite and A Saucerful Of Secrets which came on a boot called Take Linda Surfin'. However, the sound quality of "Linda" was not very good. Then to make a short story unnecessarily longer, I lost the AHM part of "Linda". (Yes, this upset me very much as you can image. God only knows why.) But then one day, behold, I came across a very nice recording of the AHM portion of this show, but it didn't come with the Saucerful part. Fuck! Anyway, this got me thinking, as I am prone to do sometimes when there's nothing good on television, the whole performance from this date must be out there somewhere and I bet it sounds as good as my "second" AHM recording. It's just a matter of hunting it down. Well, after a little investigation and some patience, my work paid off and my suspicions were confirmed.
